I love a pretty Christmas mantel. I also really like how the color red looks with Mercury Glass. I have some ornaments in the shape of acorns I use as accents on the Mantel. They are really too big for a tree anyway. I went really simple with my tree
this year. The boys are grown and don't help with the tree! So, I bought a five and a half foot balsam fir and decorated it with wrap around burgundy velvet wide ribbon and some very pretty tiny little sparkly ornaments. It's all good!
